PayPal challenged FUEL with delivering nothing short of a global spectacle… A 24-hour, fully connected programme of entertainment and inspiration for over 30,000 employees across 52 offices and 13 countries. The aim? To unite a diverse, international workforce under the banners of More Ways To Make A Difference and More Ways To Dream. This wasn’t about a passive viewing experience, it had to ignite genuine engagement, spark conversation, and empower employees to take action in their own communities. On top of that, every element had to work seamlessly across 13 time zones, with consistent quality, cultural relevance, and inspirational storytelling. From bespoke gifting for 25,000 homes to sourcing authentic global talent with stories of resilience and ambition, FUEL needed to design a platform, programme, and pre-event activation that employees would remember for years. The task was monumental, but exactly the kind of challenge where FUEL thrives, blending flawless logistics, creative innovation, and production excellence to deliver world-class experiences at scale.


the experience
FUEL transformed More Ways To Dream into a one-of-a-kind, high-energy, emotionally charged experience that blurred the lines between virtual and live engagement. The journey began a month in advance with our More Ways To Make A Difference campaign, from virtual volunteering days and small business expos to global challenges that united employees in action before they even logged on. The live event, hosted across The Americas, EMEA, and APAC, was powered by FUEL’s bespoke VStage platform, custom-built with interactive features: reactive “clap & love” icons, live chat, a virtual photo booth, exhibitor spaces, and even a digital dance floor. The programme was a global showcase of music, dance, motivational speakers, and cultural performance, all selected for their personal stories of dreaming big and overcoming adversity. Every broadcast was meticulously produced, pre-recorded or live, ensuring a premium feel throughout. Meanwhile, 25,000 beautifully designed activity boxes, including a bespoke board game and themed gifts, landed on employee doorsteps, turning the experience into something tangible and deeply personal.

The result was a global event that not only met but surpassed every objective, leaving a lasting cultural impact within PayPal. Over 42,000 live reactions were shared on VStage, over 10,000 people hit the virtual dance floor, and thousands more engaged in advance activations that directly supported small businesses, charities, and local communities. The programme brought together colleagues, friends, and teams from every corner of the globe, fostering connection, pride, and a renewed sense of purpose. Artists, performers, and suppliers from across 13 countries benefited from the event, creating a ripple effect far beyond PayPal’s workforce. FUEL’s combination of flawless logistics, creative storytelling, and digital innovation delivered a truly borderless celebration that inspired employees to dream bigger… And to act on those dreams. From strategic concept to global rollout, this project showcased exactly what FUEL does best: creating benchmark experiences that unite people, celebrate achievement, and deliver tangible results on a global stage.
