FUEL x EP - Croí & Little Picnic

FUEL x EP - Croí & Little Picnic
the task
Electric Picnic is Ireland’s biggest music and creative festival and FUEL was tasked with delivering two of its most distinctive and meaningful spaces: Croí, the beating heart of the festival’s wellness and arts offering, and Little Picnic, a purpose-built area for families and children, powered by the Kaleidoscope team. The challenge? Bring value to the festival through original programming, creative curation, design, logistics and operations and create experiences that would feel distinct yet connected to the EP ethos. From set builds and staffing to creative direction and talent booking, FUEL was responsible for every element of delivery, cementing our role as a core creative force at the heart of EP.

the experience
Croí returned in 2025 with an even more ambitious approach - a lush, immersive zone filled with yoga, breathwork, dance, workshops, music, therapy spaces, art installations and Irish artists across four stages. Every moment was curated to create a sense of connection, community and calm amidst the chaos of the wider festival.
At Little Picnic, we brought the magic of Kaleidoscope Presented by Glenveagh to Stradbally with a world-class programme of music, circus, dance, sport, crafts and STEM fun. Highlights included interactive performances from DJ Will Softly, Mark the Science Guy, Fighting Words, MTU Robotics, and the Gaiety School of Acting - alongside face painting, tie-dye stations, sensory play, trad music and more. It was a joyful, safe space where families could immerse in creativity and connection all weekend long. From large-scale installations to the tiniest pom pom craft tables, every detail was designed and delivered by FUEL’s Originals team.
the outcome
Croí and Little Picnic together formed the soul of EP’s daytime experience, providing value and meaning to a huge cross-section of festivalgoers. Croí saw over 8,000 attendees engage with talks, workshops and classes, achieving 93% capacity across its holistic therapy offerings. Little Picnic welcomed thousands of families across the weekend, keeping kids happy and parents even happier with a seamless, high-quality programme delivered by seasoned festival professionals. Both zones brought positive impact, new audiences and creative credibility to the wider festival. But more than that, they made people feel something. Whether it was a child’s first time in a dance circle or a deep exhale in a yoga class after a wild night, these spaces reflected the depth and diversity of what a modern festival can be. For FUEL, it cemented our role as a key creative partner to the Electric Picnic experience, shaping original content, spaces and moments that add depth, joy and meaning to Ireland’s biggest festival.
